Export an Extract

If you have more than one database, it is possible to export the definition of an Extract once created, so that it may be imported and used by another database. This ensures consistency of reporting across databases.

1. Create and save the Extract
2. With the Extract definition still selected in Extractor, select File | Export from the Extractor toolbar.
3. Enter the full path and filename for the file to be exported. - The extension for the filename must be '.ext'.
4. Select OK to complete the process.
