Mentoring

This window allows for the maintenance of Mentoring records and can be used to record both employees who are receiving mentoring and those who are mentoring other employees.

Prerequisites

  • No prerequisites

Rules and Guidelines

  • When the record is saved the details of the mentoring record for the ID number entered will be updated with a corresponding record.
  • When a record is deleted from the records of one employee it is also deleted from the records of the other employee and both records are transferred to the Mentoring History window.

 ESS Access

  • Information entered on this window could be accessible to the employee when logging into Employee Self Service.

Field Information

ClosedDate Entered

This field displays the date the mentoring relationship was setup.

ClosedID Number Mentor/Mentored*

This field displays the ID number of the employee who is in a mentoring relationship with the selected employee.

  • The selection will show only the current version of the employee.

 

ClosedMentored/Mentoring Indicator*

This field displays the code which describes the mentoring relationship between the two employees.

Code Description
01 Employee is mentoring the employee listed.
02 Employee is being mentored by the employee listed.
