Duties
Any extra duties assigned to an employee or an alternative position are recorded on this window. Additional duties can be assigned to a Project to help manage and monitor your human resource roles and time allocated to projects.
Example:- An employee may be employed as an Accounts Payable Clerk, but for a particular project a percentage of their time may be allocated as Payroll Officer. Alternatively, an employee may job share with another employee, or be seconded to another role.

Prerequisites
- Additional Duty Performed codes must be setup such as Assigned, Secondment, Job Sharing etc.
- Position Id's must be setup if an employee is to have duties allocated to another position
- Additional Duty Status codes can be added such as In Progress, Completed etc.
- Project ID's
Rules and Guidelines
- This option can record the period, duties performed, the status and the percentage of time assigned to the secondary task.
- Any additional duties assigned to the employee including any projects are displayed. Additional information can be entered by drilling down on a record.
ESS Access
- Information entered on this window could be accessible to the employee when logging into Employee Self Service.
Field Information
This field displays the type of extra duty to be performed.
A Position ID can be nominated for the duty.
This field displays the percentage of the employee's time allocated to the this extra position.
This field displays the status (Current or Completed) assigned to the duty.
This field displays the Start date assigned to the duty.
This field displays the End date assigned to the duty.
Comments about this other duty can be recorded in this field.
Drilldown Window
A Project ID, if created, can be assigned to this duty.
This field displays the team role nominated for the duty.
This field displays the number of hours that the employee will be spending on this duty.
