Field Information
AVERAGE PAY DETAILS
This screen shows the amount of gross pay for the last 24 periods that are to be used in the calculation of Average Pay.
These view-only fields show the period of average calculation, amount to be paid to employee, average pay calculation and the total amount for the whole period of confinement, respectively.
If an employee needs to be excluded from the payrun, an exclusion marker can be set. The valid entries are:
1 - Employee's average earnings below the NI LEL.
2 - Employee's length of service less than 26 weeks.
These fields allow a message to be attached to an employee and printed on the employee's current period payslip. Cleardown will automatically clear this field.
APP DATES
Enter the date the adoption agency has given as the date your employee has been matched with a child.
Currently not in use.
The date of the beginning of the week which is to be used in the calculation of the employee's average pay. This will normally be the same as the Qualifying Week.
The pay period (CCYYPP) which is the last period to be used for the calculation of the average pay. This is the pay date of the pay period which falls before the end of the 'Start Date for Average Calc'.
The date on which the Matching Certificate was produced.
The expected date of placement of the child. This field can be left blank until notified.
The actual date on which the employee commences adoption leave. This field can be left blank until notified.
The date on which the employee begins adoption leave.
The period number (CCYYPP) in which the actual start week for APP occurs and the system will automatically commence paying SAP.
PAYMENT DETAILS
Display only. The amount of SAP which has been paid during the current APP.
Display only. The employee's average pay as calculated by the system.
Display only. The rate at which SAP will be paid, and is a system calculated amount based on the average pay. This will be the lower of the standard amount for SAP entered in Statutory Variables or 90% of the average pay.
Display only. The number of weeks that the employee has left for payments of SAP.
Display only. The number of weeks of SAP that the system has not paid as a result of the employee working during the APP.
