Position History

This window enables the user to maintain details regarding an employee's movement during the course of his/her employment with the company.

Prerequisites

  • This window applies to all employees who have been hired into a position and has since been changed into another position.
  • Organisation Units

Rules and Guidelines

  • The data viewed is maintained by the system when the Change Position Process is used.
  • Information can be manually maintained in this option, but is not recommended.
  • This us a system audit file and should only be maintained by the system. Contact a Consultant for further information and implications before amending any records in this page.
  • Details of Position can be recorded/viewed directly onto the table, or drill down on an individual record for more detail.
  • Changes to a Secondary Position are also displayed on this window.
  •  ESS Access   

    • Information entered on this window could be accessible to the employee when logging into Employee Self Service.

    The drill down window shows additional information about the employee's Position History such as old and new Organisation Units and the Date and time the change was processed.
