Position History
This window enables the user to maintain details regarding an employee's movement during the course of his/her employment with the company.

Prerequisites
- This window applies to all employees who have been hired into a position and has since been changed into another position.

Rules and Guidelines
- The data viewed is maintained by the system when the Change Position Process is used.
- Information can be manually maintained in this option, but is not recommended.
- This us a system audit file and should only be maintained by the system. Contact a Consultant for further information and implications before amending any records in this page.
- Details of Position can be recorded/viewed directly onto the table, or drill down on an individual record for more detail.
- Changes to a Secondary Position are also displayed on this window.
ESS Access
- Information entered on this window could be accessible to the employee when logging into Employee Self Service.
Field Information
This field displays the date when the position change will be effective.
This field displays if the position is a Primary or Secondary Position.
This is the new position ID that was entered for the employee during the Change Position process.
This is the employee position the employee has changed from.
The Reason Code entered for the change during the Change Position process.
This field displays the level of employment based on the FTE (full time equivalent) method. In this case, a full-time employee has an FTE code of 1.0, a half-time employee has an FTE code of 0.5, and so on.
Drilldown
The drill down window shows additional information about the employee's Position History such as old and new Organisation Units and the Date and time the change was processed.
This field displays the effective date of the employee's previous position.
This field the displays the Organisation Unit the previous position was under.
This is the Organisation Unit ID that is linked immediately above the previous Organisation Unit.
This is the Organisation Unit ID that is linked immediately above the new Organisation Unit.
This is the code that represents the change reason.
This is the date the position change was processed.
This field displays the time the position change was processed.
