Employee Relations
Any disciplinary offenses and grievances recorded against an employee are maintained on this window to assist with managing the discipline process for an employee.

Rules and Guidelines
- The information on this screen are for recording purposes only.
- All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
- The Search bar displays a list of employees with disciplinary/grievances records. Enter an ID number to enable search, or click the Searchicon to display the list of employee ID numbers with existing ER records.

- Information entered on this screen could be accessible to the employee when logging into Employee Self Service.
Field Information
Select the type of data to be entered:

This field displays the date of the offence.
This field displays the expiry date of the offence.
This field displays a description of the offence. Note that at least 1000 characters are allowed in this field.
This field displays the name of the employee concerned.
- Enter the name of the employee or select from a list of available employees in the database.
- This field is only enabled when 'Grievances' is selected from the "ER Type" field.
This field displays the name of the manager.
- Enter the name of the manager or select from a list of available managers in the database.
This field displays the name of the employee representative.
- Enter the name of the representative or select from a list of available representatives in the database (e.g. Employee or external personnel).
This field displays the meeting date.
This field displays the follow up meeting date, if needed.
Select the applicable outcome from the following options:
- Verbal Warning
- Written Warning
- Final Written Warning
- Dismissed
- Training Required
- Disciplinary
- Rejected
- Upheld
This displays the status of the employee record. Select from the following options:

This field displays a description of the evidence. Note that at least 1000 characters are allowed in this field.
This is a read-only field.
Click this button to open the Attachments Drilldown screen.
This field displays a default value of 'D' for 'Disciplinary & Grievances'.
The attachment location is the path to the folder that contains the attachment.
For On Demand clients who have been granted access to store attachments on the iServer, select from the following options:

$HF$ (Hosted File) is for employee's specific attachments stored on the Hosted Server. This option is for attachments that are held against the employee and specific to an employee.
$H$$ (Hosted Shared) is for shared attachments stored on the Hosted Server. This option is for attachments in a shared location that multiple employees could have a link on their Attachments screen.
This field displays a description of the attachment.
This field displays the current date (i.e. the date when the file was attached).
This field displays the file name of the attachment within the attachment location.
- For $HF$ (Hosted Files), click the 'Browse' option to select the file to be attached. A message prompt ("The file has been uploaded but will not be attached to this employee until the record is saved.") will appear on the screen once the file has been uploaded. Select 'OK' to continue.
- For $H$$ (Hosted Shared), click the 'Browse' option to open the File Browse window and then proceed to select the name of the file to be attached. The File Browse window displays a preview of the available files as well as options to 'Refresh', 'Delete', 'Upload', and 'Download' Hosted Shared file/s.
This field displays the name of the thumbnail or the small image file within the attachment location.
- For $HF$ (Hosted Files), click the 'Browse' option to select the thumbnail to be attached.
- For $H$$ (Hosted Shared), click the 'Browse' option to open the File Browse window and then proceed to select the name of the thumbnail to be attached. The File Browse window displays a preview of the available files as well as options to 'Refresh', 'Delete', 'Upload', and 'Download' Hosted Shared file/s.
Select the Clear button to remove the thumbnail.
This box displays comments about the attachment.
Tick this box to display the attachment to the manager only.
When the Save button on the Attachments Drilldown screen is selected, the screen will be refreshed and the attachment added against the record will be listed in a table below the Add Attachment button.
- The name of the attachment (e.g. 'Attachment.jpg') will be visible.
- Users have the option to View or Delete an attachment by clicking on the corresponding button beside the attachment. Note that clicking the View button displays the attachment on a separate browser tab.
- Files with the same "Attachment Name" cannot be added twice (i.e. a warning message will be displayed on the Attachments Drilldown screen when the user clicks the Save button).
