Public Holidays
This window enables the user to set public holidays in a year in order for the system to automatically post public holiday payments to employees paid by the Auto Pay facility.

Prerequisites
- Hours Type Codes with a Classification of 'P'
- Level Codes 1 (Company) as a minimum
Rules and Guidelines
- Each public holiday is defined with a date containing the day, month, and year.
- Public holidays must be defined each year.
- The "Region", "Date", and "Description" fields of any existing record can be edited.
- Records can be cloned on this screen.
Field Information
Use the Level 1 Codes to specify a location where each public holiday will apply, as a minimum Level 1 Code must be defined.
- If left blank, the Public Holiday will apply to all locations.
For any existing Level 1 Code, Region, or Date that can be accessed via Search bar, this is a read-only field.
When creating a New record, select a company from the dropdown menu.
Select the applicable region from the list:

Note that the options in this field are configured via Public Holiday Regions screen.
This field displays the date the public holiday falls on. There can be more than one (1) public holiday on the same date.
This field displays the number of days paid for the public holiday. It is normally '1.00'. Fractions of a day can be entered by using decimal places. The maximum value allowed is for one day '1.00'.
This field displays a description of the public holiday.
